112 Mercer Street...where Einstein lived

112 Mercer Street
Princeton University

Albert Einstein's house...a white frame two-story house with large front porch in Greek revival style where the physicist lived from the time he was ousted the Nazis and joined the Institute for Advanced Study in 1933 until his death in 1955. I suppose you could drive by and glance at Einstein's house but you can't take a tour unless you're Brian Greene.

And, speaking of houses...apparently there is some legal razzle-dazzle regarding Einstein's summer house in Caputh, Germany. This is a complicated matter of money, Jewish heritage, Nazi Germany, and a famous personality.

Take a tour.

"Einstein's heirs fight for his little piece of Germany"
